'Self-cleaning' dishware to make kitchen chores history
A Swedish design studio has come up with a unique dishware that repels dirt and water and would save a lot of kitchen time.

Tomorrow Machine's self-cleaning plate-and-bowl prototype has a super-hydrophobic coating, that causes muck from past meals to slide right off, much like water droplets rolling off a lotus leaf, Mashable reported.

The plate-and-bowl combo is lightweight, malleable and strong, as it is made out of nanocellulose, a super material derived from wood fibers.

The team has revealed that the new technique used in their dishware is made of natural substances and is totally safe.
