Srinivas lost his wife Madhavi in a road accident in 2017 when he along with his wife and two daughters were travelling to Tirupati. When Madhavi was alive, she had a dream to own a bungalow. Ironically, Srinivas could not save her life, but after this, he decided to construct a house in Madhvi's memory; and when the house was built completely, Gupta wanted his lady to attend all functions of the home and that is why he installed the silicon statue of Madhavi at his home.
The pictures and videos of this family's house warming party are going viral everywhere on the internet. It has now become the trending topic on Twitter as people are touched by this gesture of Srinivas, and the heart-melting story of the tribute to his wife. Check out some of the tweets here:
Unbelievable! This is the wax statue of a lady who was killed in a road accident. Her husband, Srinivas Gupta of Koppal district in #Karnataka wanted her to be physically present at the family’s house-warming ceremony and decided to install a life-size figure at the new house. pic.twitter.com/gTmPdZojQa

To all this, Srinivas says, "It is a great feeling to have my wife again at my home, as this was her dream home. I came to know about an artist, Shreedhar Murthy from Bengaluru, who took almost a year to prepare Madhvi's statue. Shreedhar suggested me to have a silicon statue instead of the wax statue as we live in Koppal which is a hot place, and it is not possible to keep the AC switched ON all the time. Thus I did as suggested."
