IPL 2020 - Match No. 19 - Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Delhi Capitals - Preview and Predictions
In quest of their fourth win of Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will square off against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday.

RCB won the previous match against RR on the strength of its bowling. Getting three wickets in the powerplay (Buttler, Smith, and Samson) ripped the heart out of the RR batting and RCB always remained ahead after that.

RCB will go into the match against DC confident that it has most of the things covered. Finch, Padikkal, Kohli, and AB de Villiers form a very strong batting lineup. We still think there is some room for RCB to be a bit more enterprising with the bat throughout their innings otherwise it could cost them against strong batting teams.

The real strength for RCB, though, is its bowling. Yuzvendra Chahal has been magnificent in IPL 2020. Not only has been able to pick wickets but he has also kept the runs down. Kohli has been using spin inside the powerplay successfully. Both Chahal and Sundar bowled in the first four overs against RR. We think he will continue to use the same tactics against Delhi as well.

No changes in the team selection seem necessary at this point in time. We do believe the RCB batting lineup is a bit brittle. Shivam Dube, Gurkeerat Mann, and Washington Sundar can be put under pressure if RCB loses a couple of early wickets.

The fact that Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are taking the bowling apart consistently has to be a big positive as well. Similarly, the bowling attack for DC can take some confidence from the manner in which they bowled in the powerplay.

The injury to Amit Mishra is going to be a bit of a concern. The veteran leg-spinner has been bowling very well but could not complete his overs in the previous game. DC may have to go back to the combination of Ashwin and Axar, their original choice, if Mishra does not recover in time.

The depth in the squad that DC has is amazing. Players like Ishant Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane, and Alex Carey are waiting for a chance to make their place in the playing eleven.

We also think that DC lines up very well against the RCB team. It has players that are very good at playing spin and a bowling attack that will challenge RCB's brittle batting.

Weather Forecast
Like most of the tournament, it is going to be hot in Dubai and the temperature could fluctuate between 35-40 degrees Celcius and humidity will remain around 54%. The wind speed will be about 22 kmph.

Pitch Report
The pitch in Dubai International Stadium has been a little difficult for batsmen and has favoured spinners. The wicket might slow down, and batting might get a little difficult as the match progresses.

Toss Prediction
You can't predict the toss but team winning the toss should bat first as chasing hasn't been that easy in the tournament. Bat first, get a big score and get your opposition under pressure.
