Whatsapp Introduces New Features of Voice and Video Calling for Web Version!
Finally, Whatsapp introduced its much-awaited feature of voice and video calling for the desktop version. Usually, the message-sharing app updates its features and recently it launches several other features along with the new voice and video calling feature. As per the reports, the new Whatsapp feature of voice and video calling will work for both portrait and landscape orientations.

As per the official statement by the Whatsapp officials, "Voice and video calls on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted, so WhatsApp can't hear or see them, whether you call from your phone or your computer. Answering on a bigger screen makes it easier to work with colleagues, see your family more clearly on a bigger canvas, or free up your hands to move around a room while talking."

They further said, "It appears in a resizable standalone window on your computer screen, and is set to be always on top so you never lose your video chats in a browser tab or stack of open windows."

Apart from this, the company has also added the feature of disabling read receipts for voice messages sent by any individuals. Now, the user can switch off the feature which basically lets them know whether the user has read the receipt or not. In order to implement the feature, the user needs to use the privacy feature on the whatsapp via setting option.

Now, Whatsapp users can also mute their videos before uploading it on the Whatsapp status or sending it to other chats. This feature is quite similar to Instagram where the user can mute the voice in their shared stories. But this Whatsapp feature is only available on the Android version of the app.

As per the further reports, Whatsapp has also introduced new face or figuring unlock features for its users. As this feature will mainly work at the time when a user links their Whatsapp application on desktop through QR code.
