Excited thief in UP suffers heart attack after seeing huge amount of stolen money, spends lakhs on treatment!
It might come as a surprise, but a thief in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, suffered a heart attack after seeing the big sum of money he robbed. This becomes much harder for him when he had to spend a significant portion of his savings on hospital care. Well, this can be said that his joy turned into a tragedy when his friend took him to the hospital and a huge amount was spent on the treatment.

The two robbers were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the robbery in the Dehat district and revealed the information to police. Two criminals broke into a public service centre run by Nawab Haider on the night of February 16 and 17, according to Bijnor Superintendent of Police Dharm Veer Singh. Police had registered a case against the unnamed suspects and initiated an investigation after Haider filed a complaint alleging that more than Rs 7 lakh had been looted from the centre.

"The accused are habitual offenders and have several cases registered against them at different police stations. They confessed to have committed a robbery at the public service centre and fled with Rs 7 lakh cash and other valuables kept in an almirah," TOI quoted Bijnor superintendent of police Dharm Veer Singh as saying.

"However, soon after the theft, buoyed Ajaj suffered a heart attack and was admitted to a private hospital. He had to squander a big chunk of the stolen money on his treatment. Naushad, however, spent the money in betting in Delhi," added Singh.
