While the action may define the outcome of the war, there is no doubt that rousing speeches and witty lines can sometimes turn the conditions into a serious discussion. But when it is about the world war then several agencies and media houses keep on sharing thoughts on the third world war but if it really turns out to be true then what would be your reaction? Well, nobody wants world war 3 when the entire globe is under the attack of Coronavirus.
Perhaps, leaving behind the COVID-19 pandemic, experts are to be believed, a World War will begin in a month's time between Russia and Ukraine. Europe is already on a high alert since the Russia-Ukraine border crisis has emerged. A military expert in the region has predicted that the conflict can turn out into a war within four weeks.
Defence analyst Pavel Felgenhauer voiced concerns of a European war as footage of Russia's recent military build-up circulated. Capital Moscow has deployed more than 4,000 troops close to the rebel stronghold Ukrainian border and annexed Crimea. In a statement, he said, ''The threats are growing, and rapidly. Much is not discussed in the media, but we are seeing very bad signs. The crisis has the potential to escalate into a pan-European war, if not even a world one."
But what is the main reason behind the Ukraine crisis, why all these situations are happening? Well, it all started when an internal Ukrainian crisis took its place in November 2013. The Ukrainian Crisis is the collective name for the 2013-14 Euromaidan protests associated with the emergent social movement of integration of Ukraine into the European Union, the subsequent February 2014 Revolution of Dignity, and the ensuing pro-Russian unrest.
In March of 2014, the current crisis erupted when Russian special forces occupied Ukraine's Crimean peninsula. Russia claimed it was protecting its port access to the Black Sea. Between 2014-2018, a military conflict between Ukrainian soldiers and Russian-backed separatists continued in eastern Ukraine. More than 10,000 people were killed. On November 25, 2018, Russian ships attacked and boarded three Ukrainian vessels in the Crimean port of Azov near the Black Sea.
Critics at the United Nations Security Council meeting said Russia's attack was a violation of international law. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization increased its military presence in the area.
