Cristiano Ronaldo is a fitness freak. He might be 36 years old at present but has a fitness of a 25-year-old. Attending Portugal's press conference ahead of his team's opening Euro 2020 match against Hungary, the forward showcased his preference once again.
Ronaldo arrived at the press conference along with coach Fernando Santos. Seeing a couple of Coca-Cola bottles in front of him, Ronaldo decided to remove them from the camera angle altogether. He instead lifted a water bottle and asked everyone to 'drink water' instead.
Quite a few were left surprised seeing Ronaldo's actions. Even coach Santos looked a little surprised to see Ronaldo removing the two bottles of Coca-Cola in front of him.
Cristiano Ronaldo was angry because they put Coca Cola in front of him at the Portugal press conference, instead of water! 😂

However, Ronaldo's gesture has reportedly had a huge negative impact on Coca-Cola as a brand. Spanish outlet Marca reported that the company's shares took a dive, and meant billions of dollars in losses.
The stock market opened at 3pm in Europe. At that time, the Coca-Cola share was close to 56.10 dollars. 30 minutes later, when Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Santos stepped into the press room at the Puskas Ferenc Stadium in Budapest, stocks plummeted to a low of $ 55.22 per share.
The gesture of putting the bottles aside caused a brutal 1.6% drop for the company on the stock market. And in economic terms, Coca-Cola went from being worth $242 billion to $238 billion. A $4 billion loss off the back of one gesture by Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo had previously opened about his dislike for junk food. The Juventus stalwart has explained his son about the same a few times too.
"I'm hard with him sometimes because he drinks Coca-Cola and Fanta sometimes and I'm p***** with him. I fight with him when he eats chips and fries and everything, he knows I don't like it," Ronaldo admitted.
