A Romanian taxi driver says his business has swelled since he started playing porn films in his cab for customers.

Varga Arpad, 48, from Oradea, bought a miniature TV and a video player and started showing the films in a bid to boost business.

Mr Arpad said: "I've been driving a taxi for the last 11 years and I've learned how to second-guess what people want.

"I wanted to do something different to what the other drivers were doing, and they were installing good audio systems on their cars, trying to get more clients.

"I got myself a TV, a video recorder and loads of porn tapes.

"People make appointments specifically with me, especially when they are travelling longer distances.

"I've learned their tastes. For example, young men ask for sexy cartoons. There's always a good tip in it for me."
