The former heavyweight champion, who declared himself bankrupt last week, owes cash to a string of creditors, including £2.4 million to Britain's Inland Revenue.
He also owes £110,000 to a Las Vegas jewellery store for a gold chain lined with 80 carats in diamonds, £192,000 to a California limousine company and £37,000 to a Beverly Hills Ferrari dealership.
Other creditors include a company that fitted special effects lighting in one of his homes and a business that supplied him with pet pigeons.
The fighter owes £31,000 in child support to Kimberley Scarborough, who gave birth to their daughter in 1991.
His biggest debt is £10.5 million for taxes in the US.
"I have been in financial distress since 1998," Tyson, 37, said in the court papers filed in the US Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan.
"I have not fought recently. I have no other income."
Tyson said he has hired a "restructuring and turnaround manager" to help him deal with his financial troubles.
His assets include two Las Vegas homes, cars and other property. He has also filed a £62 million lawsuit against Don King, who he claims cheated him out of money he had earned.
