The girls were returning from their Rohtak college to Sonepat in the Haryana Roadways bus on Friday when the men allegedly started harassing them. The girls objected at first, but the men reportedly kept passing lewd remarks. Then the sisters retaliated by beating them with their hands and belt, and attempted to push them out of the bus. They also tried calling the women’s helpline 1091, but in vain. One of the passengers captured the incident on a mobile phone.
