ਸਿਰਿ ਸਿਰਿ ਰਿਜਕੁ ਸੰਬਾਹੇ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਕਾਹੇ ਮਨ ਭਉ ਕਰਿਆ।।੨।।
For each and every person, our Lord and Master provides sustenance. Why are you afraid, O mind?
Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji - Ang 10
ਜੋ ਹੋਆ ਹੋਵਤ ਸੋ ਜਾਨੈ।।
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਪਨੇ ਕਾ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਨੈ।।
God's devotees know that everything happens according to God's Will;
They accept everything as God's Will!

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਹੋਇ ਦਇਆਲੁ ਤਾ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਮਾਣੀਐ।।

ਮਨਮੁਖ ਸਉ ਕਰਿ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਸੁਖ ਕਿ ਪੁਛਿਹ ਮਿਤ।।
ਗੁਰਮੁਖ ਸਉ ਕਰਿ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਲਾਇ ਚਿਤੁ।।
If you make friends with the self-willed Manmukhs,
O friend, who can you ask for peace?
Make friends with the Gurmukhs,
And focus your consciousness on the True Guru!
ਜਬ ਲਗੁ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਕਰੈ।।
ਤਬ ਲਗੁ ਕਾਜੁ ਏਕੁ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਰੈ।।
ਜਬ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਿਟਿ ਜਾਇ।।
ਤਬ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾਜੁ ਸਵਾਰਿਹ ਆਇ।।
As long as he cries out, "Mine! Mine!, none of his tasks is accomplished. When such possessiveness is erased & removed, then God comes and resolves his affairs!"

ਦੁਖ ਤਿਸੈ ਪਹਿ ਆਖੀਅਹਿ ਸੁਖ ਜਿਸੈ ਹੀ ਪਾਸਿ।।
Tell your troubles to the One who is the source of all comfort!
ਹਮ ਮੂਰਖ ਮੂਰਖ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ।।
ਹਉਮੈ ਵਿਚਿ ਸਭ ਕਾਰ ਕਮਾਹਿ।।
We all are ignorant; ignorance fills our minds.
Because we do all our deeds in ego.

ਨਾ ਓਹਿ ਮਰਹਿ ਨ ਠਾਗੇ ਜਾਹਿ।।v ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਰਾਮੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ।।
Neither spiritual death nor deception of vices comes to those, within whose minds the Lord abides.

ਗੁਰਿ ਕਹਿਆ ਜੋ ਹੋਇ ਸਭੁ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਤੇ।।
ਤਬ ਕਾੜਾ ਛੋਡਿ ਅਚਿੰਤ ਹਮ ਸੋਤੇ।।
The Guru says that whatever happens is all by God's will.
So I have abandoned sadness and now I sleep without anxiety!

ਲਾਜ ਮਰੰਤੀ ਮਰਿ ਗਈ ਘੂਘਟੂ ਖੋਲਿ ਚਲੀ।।
ਸਾਹੁ ਦਿਵਾਨੀ ਬਾਵਰੀ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਸੰਕ ਟਲੀ।।
My shyness and hesitation have died and gone, and I walk with my face unveiled. The confusion and doubt from my crazy mother-in-law has been removed from over my head.
