I would like to take this opportunity to categorically state that the reports appearing in large parts of the media- both print and electronic - to the effect that my name has been shortlisted by the selection board to succeed Cyrus Misty as the chairman of Tata Sons are unfounded, motivated and spread by my business rivals in order to cause panic, both locally and globally. It's a fact, though, that Ratan Tata did call me a couple of times in recent times; but we never discussed the issue of succession. All that we talked about was whether my Tata Sky connection was working properly now.
The reason Politicians try so hard to get re-elected is that they would "hate" to have to make a living under the laws they have passed!
Yesterday at the airport, two Chinese girls & an Indian girl were sitting opposite me.
But I was looking at the Indian girl only.
Boycott means Boycott!
Hope the Chinese do not get to know about our plans to boycott Chinese products.
If they do, they'd mass-produce stickers saying "Boycott Chinese Products" and sell those stickers in India!
Last year on Diwali, Prem was back in Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
This Diwali, Ratan is back in Tata.
Hopefully next year, Dhan will be back!
Ratan Tata returns as the chairman of Tata Group. We should rename Ratan Tata as Return Aata!
The news is that Patanjali will soon enter into the textile business.
